The Story Behind TalentX

Born from a belief that every child deserves a chance to dream, learn, and grow — regardless of their circumstances.

Our Mission

What is TalentX?

TalentX is a youth-led initiative dedicated to unlocking the potential of underprivileged children through hands-on workshops in photography, art, dance and technology.

Born from a belief that every child deserves a chance to dream, learn, and grow — regardless of circumstance. It started in 2022 when our founders, then in Grade 6, pitched the M3M Foundation for sponsorship and committed to running workshops for underprivileged children in return. What began as a single three-day workshop for 50 children grew into a full student-led community, officially launched in January 2025.

Our Vision

A world where every child has the confidence and skills to shape their own future, regardless of background.

Why Youth-Led?

Young leaders bring empathy, relatability and fresh perspective — when youth empower youth, impact is more authentic and lasting.

Our Approach

We don't lecture — we create experiences. Hands-on workshops that spark curiosity, build confidence, and leave lasting impressions.

Our Approach

Do, Question, Create & Reflect

TalentX is built around the belief that children learn particularly well when they're given the opportunity to do, question, create and reflect. A session rarely begins and ends with an explanation — a concept moves through conversation, activity, challenge and reflection before it sticks.

A session on aspirations might pair discussion with the creation of individual vision boards. A creative session may use origami or art to build patience and independent expression.
1

Conversation

A concept is introduced through discussion, questions, or a short story.

2

Activity

Children move into a hands-on task, craft, or practical exercise.

3

Challenge

A collaborative task or challenge deepens the idea further.

4

Reflection

Children present or reflect on what they've created or discovered.
